With eight different campaign segments to journey through, Live a Live’s structure can be confusing at first. For maximum story impact (and the best difficulty curve in general), play through the game in this order: Prehistoric, Twilight of Edo Japan, Imperial China, The Wild West, Present Day, Near Future, and, finally, The Distant Future.
