Although you can hold the Dash button to sprint faster while riding your wolf, it's also possible to perform a quick boost. While dashing forward, perform a drift (LT + Left-Stick) and you'll see your Palamute slide with its feet digging into the ground. Once this happens, let go of the drift and continue holding the Left-Stick forward for a super fast boost that will cover lots of ground.
