During your encounter with the Vampire Nest, you need to focus on destroying the heart of the nest. When you destroy the heart, a timer starts automatically. You need to loot and escape the nest within the given time. You do not have to worry about the timer. If you do not manage to get out of the nest, a few experience points get deducted.
