Kena has a great shield that can take a punch. However, you should not rely on this shield as it can get rather fragile against main bosses. The rule of thumb is to use the shield only when you need it. Initially, you’ll find a lot of bosses and enemies that will attack your shield and it might even break, depending upon the damage.
