After exposing an enemy's weak-point gauge, you can extend the time it's vulnerable by using the Stasis ability. Press R + X to use the Sheikah Rune to activate Stasis. Do this as soon as you see the enemy's weakpoint-gauge to maximize the amount of damage you can do while they're frozen.
