If you grind in Dusk Diver 2, you can receive armor and weapons. These weapons sometimes have gem slots that boost the weapons stats. While having a higher level weapon might have a better base stat. But Gems take priority a lot higher. Equip a low level weapon with gems and that weapon might do more damage than high level weapons.
