There are two different versions of Sushi, Take-Out and Eat-In. Keep in mind that Sushi bought from the Take-Out menu are stored in your inventory. These food items can be used directly in battle to heal or buff yourself. When you purchase Eat-In Sushi, you're provided the effects of the sushi at time of purchase and the buffs are applied to you instantly.
