You can upgrade your weapons with the same few materials, such as iron and gold. And you can find these ores in various places across the map. The easiest way to find ore is to head over to a mine, grab a pickaxe lying around, and start mining ore veins. You can’t do anything with this ore until you take it to a blacksmith and turn it into ingots.
