When you are staying in a position, press right trigger rapidly and followed by holding the trigger, you will enter the burst mode which makes you attack much faster. The problem is that you are prone to get knocked back when you get hit by bigger bullets, so fury mode helps you to be immune with knock back effect by pressing right and left trigger at the same time.
