There are two ways to go about this. 1. Play Rock Paper Scissors by repeatedly earning 500g or 800g each time to ensure you get your gold. 2. Wait until the roulette game's largest reward slice is clothing or weapons, then sell them right away. (Just make sure they're duplicates and not new items for your miis to use.) This is especially useful in the late game when everything is pricey.
