You can assassinate enemies from above without taking fall damage. Even if you're a few stories above your enemy, as long as you are within range to assassinate them, you won't get hurt. Even if you don’t see the Assassinate icon, jump towards an enemy and strike once the icon is highlighted. Or spam it.
