In the game, there are about 4 models shared amongst characters; little girl, teenager, adult woman, and adult man. All with differing heights, with adult man being the tallest. Due to the "adult man model" having the longest length, they can cover more area; thus reducing the stamina and time taken to get to a location. So, try using characters like Kaeya or Childe and see the difference.
