You can place a Waypoint to help guide you to an area you'd like to explore. This is especially useful with Treasure Maps you obtain where you need to navigate to a specific location. On the bottom left of the World Map, click the Share Destination button and then click on the World Map. A Waypoint will be set that also shows up on the Minimap and Overlay. From there you can follow it as a guide.
