When equipping items like heavy weapons and shields, your run speed becomes limited and your character moves slower. Press the R key (Keyboard) or press the RIGHT STICK (Controller) to Hide/Show Weapon. This will sheathe whatever you’re carrying. This also allows you to quickly unsheathe and use your equipment right away when you need it.
