Your character uses a flashlight that uses batteries. You can very easily burn through your batteries if you intensify the flashlight beam. The batteries slowly recharge though but when you are in danger, you have the option to change the batteries immediately. Do not worry, the game provides you with a generous amount of battery supplies.
