While your main player is cool ad all, you should switch characters during and after combat for a couple of reasons. Firstly, each player has its own advantage and disadvantage. Moreover, sticking to a single character will make the game seem boring. Hence, when you're in the heat of the moment, you should always try to switch characters to increase you combat abilities.
