In any racing game, getting a good start is everything. If you can get the perfect launch in Need for Speed Unbound, it will be harder for the enemies to catch up with you. You will see a small bar on the screen. You just have to rev it up to the point where the arrow will fall in the small bar. This way, you will get an early boost.
