As each map features separate lanes, separating your troops amongst them will let you attack the enemy head-on. It’s recommended to lend equal unit types to each lane as a way to prevent catastrophic disadvantages and massive mistakes, but if handled correctly this is a great way to start a mission ahead of the enemy.
