While exploring the Kingdom, use abilities even if there aren’t enemies around, especially new ones. It’s not wise to wait until an enemy is attacking you to figure out what a spell does. If you feel it is wasteful, at least wait until you find a feeble enemy that you have no fear of dying by. Otherwise, just casually use your skills to see what it does before entering severe battles.
