When you are facing enemies using melee weapon, dodging enemies can be effective to reduce the risk of being hit if the enemies surround you. Though the tutorial says you need to dodge the enemies when the attack sign appears, doing it more often helps you to avoid sudden attacks that you didn’t expect from blind spots.
