When you visit towns on your journey, it may be second nature to run past NPCs who look like they don’t have anything to offer. However, many of the NPCs in the game have clues for essential secrets. They even sometimes hint at the next thing you are supposed to do or where you should go to progress the story. There’s even lore you wouldn’t learn without talking to them.
