If you don't have a healer in your party, there's an alternative way to heal downed or wounded party members without them having to consume a Healing Potion. You can throw a Healing Potion at them at any time. It doesn't have to hit them directly and if you have a few party members in close proximity, just throw it at the ground and the splash will provide healing.
