1. First make sure you update Returnal to Returnal Ascencion version 3.0. 2. Upon starting a new game, visit the Chronosis portal next to your ship. 3. Join or Host a public session, or alternatively host a private session. All progression is tied to the host player but you can increase Scout Rank and collected logs & xenoglyphs are saved.
