This game demands a lot of grinding, requiring you to revisit old enemies. But unlike most RPGs, enemies won’t respawn when you leave and return to an area. Instead, they respawn based on your extinction meter. The goal is to keep defeating monsters, drop this meter down to zero, and save humanity. But if you rest, you’ll give this meter time to refill, respawning previous enemies.
