If you have a weapon that has a Fusion Material EXP+ seal, first level it up by fusing it with other weapons to increase the amount of EXP it gives. Then when there's a weapon you want to enhance, use the Fusion Material EXP weapon as fusion fodder to get even more experience points. Note in the image how 2 extra levels are gained by using it after it was fused.
