Roads will increase the speed of your citizen’s travelling time around the settlement. When you begin laying down your roads, I would recommend you start paving a route around the land borders and build up your Farms, Forager’s Huts and Lumberjack Cabins alongside them until you form an outer ring. The outer ring road will be convenient for your citizens to get around each area of the land.
