Shortcuts remain unlocked if you return to a level
If you've unlocked a shortcut in the level such as those by pulling a lever, the shortcut will remain unlocked no matter if you return to The Nexus or restart the stage. Enemies however, will respawn if you decide to return to the level after leaving it.
