Although it can feel slow, using stealth provides a quick way to kill an enemy and conserve Ether. A "Quick Purge" will make waste of enemies instantly. Use Spectral Vision to help with this. Hide and observe their movements while in a safe place. As soon as they turn their back, crouch and crawl behind them to Quick Purge. Upgrade the Faster Sneaking skill to speed up your crouch walk.
