Moving sideways, also known as Strafing, helps a lot in survival. When all of the enemies are attacking from an angle, it’s really wise to strafe left or right as it’ll throw enemies' senses off. Strafing is the best way to avoid your enemy’s attacks and you can counterattack smartly.
