Racing simulators are created with the main focus being realism. Everything is meant to be like real-life racing, from the tires' relationship with the tar to the varying pressure sensors for braking. With that, the developers don't expect you to be professional drivers. It's okay to use aids to help you determine when to "land" turns and how and when to brake while cornering.
