Certain strong enemies called Brave Generals drop their gear set for you to use on runs or starting new game. Defeat them to permanently have their gear available to you. To identify them, they are the larger blue dots on the map. The enemies' names are labeled with bright yellow text as well. Their statues will be active in the Hall (starting area). Visit them and pick up the gear to equip.
