The default Controller Preset is limited in regards to movement. Since Returnal is such a fast paced game, it's essential to be able to aim and perform abilities simultaneously. Consider changing Controller Mapping to a setup that allows you to Jump, Dash, and use Melee attacks while aiming. For example: R3 - Melee L1 - Jump R1 - Dash By re-mapping these actions, you can play more fluidly.
