If you want to avoid spending Ucreds on health packs and recovery items, you can use your Cyberdeck ICE hacking ability. Keep in mind that you'll need Cyberdeck Upgrades to hack certain devices and the only way to get them is by finding them in the game world. In the menu under the Character tab, go to Cyberdeck and if MISC = YES, you should be good to go.
