Jefferson's clue: "West of the crow's camp is a vast canyon which is the resting ground of a long dead serpent..." Take the southwest exit from Crow's Camp and outside use Hook Shot to cross. You'll need to shoot the glowing switches and move quickly onto platforms (use Hook Shot to gain ground) before they rise. For multiple platforms shoot the switches in order to reach the secret.
