Ranged attacks can be deadly, especially while you're attacking melee enemies. If you can't eliminate ranged enemies right away, try to position yourself between objects, (walls, rocks, obelisks, etc) out of their line of sight. If possible, focus on killing ranged enemies before melee types. This can preserve health since the chance of being hit by projectiles is less.
