Make it a habit to re-center the camera while you're attacking. Press ZL to keep the camera facing forward towards your enemies. This helps you chain combos by always knowing where the next enemy or group of enemies are. Sometimes the camera can drift or get wonky, leaving you without an enemy to focus on.
