Coins are sprawled everywhere in the play area. You find them in chests, defeating enemies, and going full Link-mode on pots and shrubbery. However, even though you see a lot, the things you need them for are pretty expensive. Eventually, you will be able to upgrade your strength, defense, and consumable capacities. Make sure you are smart about spending to have enough for your later upgrades.
