Breaking streetlights, cars, dumpsters, traffic lights, and other destructibles can increase your chance at receiving new guns, upgrades, and items from the Llamazon drone. If you're stuck with a gun you don't like, consider destroying everything in your current area before moving on. You might be able to pick up better gear.
