Defeating enemies and spending a few minutes exploring areas will warrant new elements. However, they will sit in your inventory UNUSED if you don’t remember to equip them as soon as you get them. It’s a simple rule, but you’d be surprised to know how many people think simply picking up Elements will activate them. Some are passive, and you wouldn’t notice, so remember to ensure they’re equipped.
