When playing a game as extensive as Chrono Cross, you need to be open to the idea of arriving someplace you technically aren’t supposed to be yet. Usually, the game won’t allow you to progress until the game wants you to be there. However, other times you may get lucky and stumble across something that can make your travels easier at that time than if you found it later on in the game.
