How the game is Metroid Vania
The first hour will give players time to test out the Straw Hat Pirates’ techniques from the anime. Players may realize they are overpowered. Eventually, the party will run into the Fire Colossus who is the guardian of the island. It will sap the crew’s powers away . One Piece Odyssey does have some Metroid Vania elements, so this twist is not that surprising.
