If possible, focus on killing a single enemy when facing a mob. Choose an enemy that's off to the side, not in the middle of the pack. If you've unlocked Death Force or Death Kick, push them away from the action. Reduce the crowd by killing off weaker enemies first if possible. Be careful when using lock-on, you can get hit off-screen. Be aware of movement around you. Get ready to dodge.
