There are two ways to find out what quests are available in your current town or area: 1. NPCs with a speech bubble indicate that you can pick up a quest from them. 2. The mini-map in the lower right corner of the screen shows NPC locations as dots. White dots (most have black a circle) represent a quest. These dots are either a quest offering or the NPC to complete a quest.
