If you find that your weapons aren't doing much damage or you're getting one-hit-killed by enemies in a certain area, it usually means you're underleveled. Consider revisiting or exploring other areas that are less deadly. Level up weapons to do more damage or purchase armor that can allow you to take more hits. Don't fall victim to higher level content, mark it on your map and take it on later.
