Magatama are hard to come by early on so it’s best to save 7 of them right away for the Grapple Summon Tengu skill. This skill gives you the ability to create a grapple point on higher platforms at will. This is such a useful skill because you’ll be able to traverse higher ground without relying on nearby Tengu, giving you much more freedom to explore buildings and travel faster by gliding.
