Cuff is a being hiding in a bracelet that guides Frey throughout the game. However, instead of just doing the basic stuff, he can also scan and alert Frey of a lot of things. For example, if there's valuable items nearby, Cuff will let you know and this type of scanning abilities are great for people who don't like to spend a lot of time just looking for items.
