When it comes to your movement abilities, you can simply upgrade them with Spellcraft just like any other skill in the game. If you're not familiar with Spellcraft, it's a system, that is available early on in the game and after you complete a specific tasks with a skill, you will get huge benefits and are able to upgrade your abilities.
