It's possible to strafe left and right even when you're behind cover. Aim down sights (ADS) and you can track enemies by walking, even if you're locked into cover. Drop down into cover by releasing your ADS. Strafing can help you stay mobile in cover, allowing you to be aggressive while mitigating damage taken as you move.
