On certain enemies, there's a large glowing orange area on their body known as their weakpoint. This weakpoint tends to appear on tougher foes. In order to defeat such enemies quickly, focus attacks on weakpoints. Some can be directly targeted, so always lock on if possible. With enough damage a CORE BREAK occurs and the enemy is downed. This is a short window to deal the most damage.
