If you’re a beginner, using the Codex built-in menu will come in handy. The codex contains information about all the intimidating enemies that you’re going to encounter as Sam. Once you defeat an enemy, you’ll see its information in Codex, including the ways to defeat them. Understanding enemies will give you an edge.
